The Dumfries and Galloway Health Virtual Branch was et up to provide support for members working across the large area of this health service employer. The Dumfries and Galloway Health virtual branch (www.unisondghealth.org.uk )  went live to its members on 25.3.09.  The branch faced difficulties in amassing email details for members and so has not to date been able to issue email newlsletters to any great number. 

From situations like the we have learned that one of the criteria for adopting this approach would be holding a suignificant proportion of email addresses for members.
