We have seen an upturn in the figures for visitors to sites in the last months of 2010. We are able to show that these visitors are in all liklihood members responding to email communication from Virtual Branches.

We now want to promote the use of forums with the aim of getting members used to the idea that they can comment on issues via their Virtual Branches.

We suggest that when articles are placed on a Virtual Branch, an entry is also made as a forum topic.  The forums can then be added as a standard link to email bulletins to members.

In addition we will be aim to add topics to the forums and in some cases issue emails inviting members to participate. Where sites are already issuing regualr emails we will seek to co-ordinate with them on this approach.
